Sthira to Samadhi: Static and Strength
During this one day module, we learn to find our feet (pada bandha) as we ground to find steadiness (sthira). We will explore the variations, structure, and alignment of the standing asanas. We will also learn the anatomy of our feet, to create standing sequences, hands-on assists, and the philosophy of Samadhi (a state of awareness). Geared towards teachers, but open to experienced students.
Advanced Studies Module: Surya Namaskar & The Art of Flow
We will breakdown Sun Salutes in their varying forms and then apply the understanding of flow classes. We will also explore the two girdles of shoulders and hips as well as the philosophical approach of flow of the breath and mind as it relates to the Ashtanga (8 fold path).

As the body flows, we can cultivate a steadiness in the mind. It is through this steadiness of mind that we may reach the objective state of Samadhi. During this module, we learn to find our feet (pada bandha) as we ground to find steadiness (sthira). We will explore the variations, structure, and alignment of the standing asanas. We will also break down Surya Namaskar and learn to create flowing sequences by weaving various standing poses into the sun salutation.

Advanced Studies Module 6: The Art of Vinyasa & Samadhi
During this workshop, we will focus on asanas that relate to the traditional Vinyasa of Hatha Yoga (Down Dog, Up Dog, Chaturanga, etc.), as well as other postures that can heighten our sensitivity to the present moment. We will also explore sequencing, themes, and methods of consciously weaving Vinyasa into an inspiring class.
