Each week we explore different avenues or techniques to either begin our practice or support an ongoing one.

Wednesday, Jan 7:  Yogic Path of Meditation | 7-8:30pm

Join Trace for an evening of learning the path of meditation from the Yoga perspective.  We will find our seat, breathe and center ourselves through techniques of breath awareness and mantra, and even explore how to create a mantra for the year ahead.   We will work with beginner mind, which helps us to learn to process the world around us with peace, centeredness and mindfulness. And eventually learn how to ride the waves of shifts and changes as they arise.  


Wednesday, Jan 14:  Heart Centered Meditation & More | 7-8:30pm

We know that a meditation is for us, but did you know it's good for US?!

Join Steven as he focuses on what we call "Heart Practices". These connect to ourselves with a sense of kindness, compassion and equanimity.  As an added benefit we are then able to extend this goodwill to others, even people we don't know or aren't even fond of! Three Practices will be offered, with a little breathing room between them. A journal and pen are suggested. 


Wednesday, Jan 21: Meditators Guidebook | 7-8:30pm

Join Deborah for a sampling of different techniques to discover which path of meditation suits you. You’ll explore the common barriers for a practice and how to navigate the steps for finding your way to a good and consistent meditation practice. Deborah is a certified meditation instructor and inspired by the teachings of Ram Das, "The Journey of Awakening". Dress comfortably and bring something to take notes with. A relaxing yoga nidra will wrap up our evening.


Wednesday, Jan 28th: Mindful Meditation | 7-8:30pm

More of a mindful gathering, Angela guides us into the arena of mindfulness.  In the first part of this workshop, you will learn what it means to be mindful and why it’s so important in our lives.  Then, using gentle breath-work, guided meditations, and mindful dialogue, we’ll explore how to navigate life with mindfulness and heart.  Leave with a deeper sense of connection, and practical tools to help you face challenges and ultimately say “yes” to life!  We’ll end with tea + a journal reflection so you can integrate the experience.
