Each week we explore different avenues or techniques to either begin our practice or support an ongoing one.

Monday, Jan 13:  Yogic Path of Meditation | 7-8:30pm

Join Trace for an evening of learning the path of meditation from the Yoga perspective.  We will find our seat, breathe and center ourselves through techniques of breath awareness and mantra, and even explore how to create a mantra for the year ahead.   We will work with beginner mind, which helps us to learn to process the world around us with peace, centeredness and mindfulness. And eventually learn how to ride the waves of shifts and changes as they arise.  


Monday, Jan 20:  Loving Kindness Meditation & More | 7-8:30pm

We know that a meditation is for us, but did you know it's good for US?!

Join Steven as we explore 3 techniques that take us beyond ourselves and aid us in offering love and compassion towards others. We begin with the most commonly known and practiced, Loving Kindness, in which we offer phrases of well wishes to others. Next, we'll explore a Tonglen practice, where we acknowledge the suffering of others and attempt to offer anything of benefit.  And finally, R.A.I.N, a mindfulness technique that can help with managing emotions, anxiety, and negative feelings.


Monday, Jan 27: Primordial Mantra Meditation | 7-8:30pm

Journey into a healing meditation practice with your ancient personal Primordial mantra “PSM”. Studied by Vedic Scholars and the Chopra Institute, 108 sounds are understood based on your time and location of your birth and that specific unique vibration in the universe.

Join Deborah, a certified Chopra teacher as she instructs you on this silent mantra meditation technique and attain your sacred sound. We will learn benefits of this type of quiet meditation, the steps to create a routine and how to expand your awareness and inner calm.

*At the time of signing up for the workshop, or soon after, please provide the time (or your best guess) and city, state of your birth. Deborah with the Chopra Institute will calculate your PSM and she will personally share it with only you at the workshop.
