Gentle Yoga is a healing practice that promotes physical and mental health.
Module 2 builds upon the foundation established in Module 1, diving deeper into the art of creating accessible and inclusive yoga practices for everyBODY.
We will focus on the different variations of Sun Salutations, exploring options for practicing from the floor, a chair, and against the wall, while also incorporating props and variations for ALL bodies.
The training will also cover language and cues to ensure inclusivity and sensitivity to diverse needs, while offering a comprehensive asana breakdown. You’ll learn to create a truly adaptive yoga practice,
incorporating pranayama, meditation, and yoga nidra techniques to quiet the mind. Additionally, there will be an optional Gentle Flow class to practice and integrate the concepts learned. Whether you’re an experienced yoga teacher or someone new to the practice, this workshop will provide invaluable tools to offer a compassionate, trauma-sensitive approach to teaching.
