Join Deborah to explore the energy centers of the body as we climb up the Chakra System in this 7-part series.
This workshop will explore:
The Throat Chakra
The 5th chakra is Vishuddha (“very pure”) and directly relates to our ability to communicate clearly. it is our gateway to speak and listen with authentic expression. this energy center is Located at the center of the neck, thyroid, jaw, tongue, mouth and shoulders.
The associations of this chakra are:
The color blue
The vibration sound “Ham”
The element of ether
Personal expansion, intuition, and our physical, mental and emotional expression.
This workshop will focus on tools to release any imbalances of energy in your sense of communication. We’ll use journaling, drawing, two guided meditations (one with live harmonium sound and the other with repeating affirmations) and pranayama to get our energy flowing towards that of genuine expression and connection. We will also learn about the history and practical understanding of the chakra system.
There will be no physical asana practice, and all are welcome. Please bring a notebook/journal and wear comfortable clothes.
Each session of these series are independent, meaning you are more than welcome to attend this session, even if you didn’t come to the first.

Meet Deborah :
Her yoga practice began more than 30 years ago during her time as a professional ballet dancer. She received her Yoga Teacher Certification here at Holy Cow in 2009 and has been teaching ever since. She is a certified Chopra Institute Meditation and Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor.
