Most people involved in yoga are aware of the ancient yoga text, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Few, however, are familiar with the texts of the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and Gheranda Samhita. These fundamental yoga texts are meant to give us guidelines and structures for exploring the deepest part of ourselves and moving our body in a subtle way in order to reveal what the earliest yogis described as our essence or true self. Join Trace Sahaja for a insightful day where we combine lectures with easeful movement of the body, yogic breathing, meditation as well as coloring, drawing and singing to connect with our deepest peace within. We will gain from our retreat the skills to step back into our lives with renewed awareness.
