Join Trace Sahaja Bonner to take a tiny step into Raja Yoga, the “royal path” or what some may refer to as the “yoga of the mind”
Offered both in-studio and virtually, we’ll use lecture, discussion, and journaling to gain understanding of three foundational concepts of the Raja Yoga teachings to guide and inspire our lives, followed by a guided relaxation/laying down meditation.
Patanjali, the co-edifier of the Yoga Sutras, is considered to be the father of Yoga. His guiding words allow us to open the caverns of our minds and see how our thoughts and attachments can give rise to suffering. While he offers insight into our struggles, he also shares with us how to remove obstacles and provides stepping stones out of our dilemma to allow us to live more consciously. This program is open to all those interested in growth in the field of Yoga and Meditation, both teachers and students of the practice.
When:
Wednesday, May 13th | 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Investment:
$25
We have a few copies of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali with commentary by Swami Satchidananda, however it is NOT necessary to have this book to join this evening program.
Please bring a small notebook and pen for notes.
