Mindful Grieving: A Community Circle with Mary Riddle

When we are faced with the unimaginable circumstances of grief, no words, quotes, or verses seem to take away the impact of losing a loved one. Although our individual grief is unique, in a circle of people experiencing their own version of grief, there is a shared sense of that depth of pain, a place to put words and emotion to your loss in a community built to listen, witness, and validate your experience.

During this time, we will come together in community , a sacred circle, to witness each other and our own version of grief. We will create space during this time to reflect, to share, to move and to listen to what is. Each Community Circle will include guided meditation, journaling, and some gentle movement.

Circle Offerings:

Saturday 7/29 | 5:30pm-7:30pm

Saturday 8/26 | 5:30pm-7:30pm

Mary Riddle was first exposed to yoga as a child watching her mother bend and stretch on the living room floor. She dabbled in yoga for years as a complement to cardiovascular and weight training. Her true pursuit of yoga, however, began in 2012 as a sanctuary from the monkey mind and conduit for the journey within. She became a RYT-200 in 2019 and is currently pursuing 500-hr certification. Mary's overall intention for classes is to create a space for exploration, reflection and, ultimately, acceptance of what is found. Mary is also a certified mindful grieving facilitator.
